Apple to sell 300.000 Core 2 Duo based MacBooks in November

Core 2 Duo MacBook  Over 300.000 Core 2 Duo based MacBooks are expected to be shipped this month, says the Chinese-language Commercial Times. It seems that Apple may be delivering a higher than expected number of MacBook Pro units. According to the Times, Asustek (Apple’s Taiwanese manufacturing) will distribute over 700.000 notebooks, including its own brand of systems.

Apple’s decision to upgrade its MacBooks to the Core 2 Duo processors lead to a drop in October’s shipments and 150.000-200.000 notebooks haven’t been shipped.
