Samsung’s Aura is visible to everyone!

In most cases, the aura is defined as being an energy field that surrounds living beings, visible only to those born with the skill to see it, or those who developed this ability. Often described as a multi colored mist that has an assortment of boundaries and properties, the aura just got a new definition from Samsung!
The new line of laptops from Samsung is going to be called Aura, and the first model from the series, Aura R20, is going to arrive on the market this week. A worthy follower of the well known Q series, the Aura is a big step forward for Samsung, especially in terms of design.
Able to stand next to a MacBook or a Nintendo DS Lite without being ashamed of its look, the Aura R20 has a glossy black finish and minimalist styling, but if we get under its skin, a lot of interesting things can be discovered…
The Aura R20 seems to be the first notebook to use the new AMD/ATI RS600ME chipset for - strange, but true - Intel processors. The best part about this chipset is that contains the fastest integrated graphics solution available at this time, the Radeon Xpress 1250 Hyper Memory. Despite the fact that it doesn’t beat dedicated solutions, this graphics chip is a step forward from the ubiquitous Intel integrated graphics that MacBook owners, and not only them, had to deal with, because there was simply no alternative.
The display used by the graphics chip to display images is a 14.1 inch widescreen LCD, while the Core 2 Duo processors with the T7400 at the end, accompanied by a maximum of 4GB of RAM will take care of the math part behind the scene.
The storage devices included can go up to a 160GB hard drive, together with a DVD burner, of course.
At last, the built-in WiFi and Bluetooth should take care of your connectivity needs. Unfortunately, the official announcement will be issued in a few days, so until then, there’s no information about the pricing and availability, but I am sure that now you’ll have your eyes on Samsung in the next days, just like me!
