Asus releases the “greenest” laptop ever created: the EcoBook- a true tree hugger’s dream.

The outside of the laptop is covered in bamboo, the palm rest is wood, and the guts are all plastic. There is no paint or coating or chemicals.

A cool feature of the laptop is that the touchpad has been increased in size to accommodate a handwriting feature by way of a stylus.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but the Sierra Club ought to love this.
