Asus to Sell Low Price 7″ Solid State Laptops

Asus will be launching five low-cost laptops, priced between $199 and $550, and sporting a 7″ screen.

No word on what resolutions the screens will support yet, as all that is known is that AU Optronics will be the flat panel supplier. Forgoing a traditional hard drive, Intel will license their Solid State Disk technology with capacities up to 40GB.
