Sprint WiMAX Network Coming In April. Do We Care?

Speaking at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show, Sprint CTO Barry West announced that the company is on track to launch their WiMAX service, called Xohm, around the end of April. Is this new wireless connection service going to be the next must-have technology, or is it just too soon to tell?
