HP is launching a new entry level laptop, selling for around $565 and offering everything you’d need for a standard home or office desktop. It looks like HP is getting in on the luxury laptop game, teaming with high-end automaker Maybach for its new ns42 model. Like other similarly luxurious laptops, this one comes wrapped in leather, with the Maybach logo beating out HP’s for that prime lid real estate. While there doesn’t seem to have been much in the way of specs revealed just yet, it will apparently pack a Core 2 Duo processor of some sort and, most notably, a 64GB SSD drive, which should help keep the power consumption down and the price up. Exactly how hight that price may go remains to be seen, however, as does any word on when you might actually be able to get your hands on one. Until then, you can check out photos of the laptop right here:

Just last year, Dell recalled more than four million laptop batteries manufactured by Sony because the batteries overheated and were at risk to catch fire and cause injuries.
